Stephen King reveals TV reboot of 'Dark Tower'

The recent movie 'Dark Tower' was originally supposed to spin off a TV series that would fill in the gaps left in the movie, but now, author Stephen King has revealed that the whole franchise is likely to be rebooted for the TV, since the movie version didn't exactly do well at the box office.

Stephen King wrote The Dark Tower series of books from 1998, until 2012. There are 9 books in this western-horror series, and how many movies will there be is still a mystery.

The Dark Tower (2017) has premiered on August 4th, and it took a beating from the critics, and audiences as well.

Nikolaj Arcel directed the movie, and he contributed on the screenplay too, as well as was writers Anders Thomas Jensen, Jeff Pinker and Akiva Goldsman.

The story is about The Gunslinger (Idris Elba) who is trying to reach the Dark Tower which holds the universe together, and Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey) who is trying his best to stop the Gunslinger.

There are other notable names in the movie such as Katheryn Winnick, Jackie Earle Haley, Abbey Lee, Ben Gavin...

The movie didn't do too well at the box office, and now the producers are trying to find a way to reanimate this title.

And if you can trust Stephen King, it will be transferred to the new medium. Take a look at this video, and find out everything about it!
